Run by Chief Creative Officer Dorian and her daughter Zoe, Nic Zoe describes itself as a "fiercely female" clothing brand. The company got its start in 2006, after Dorian noticed that women's clothing just wasn't measuring up. Whoever was designing it wasn't really considering real women. Women needed versatility: clothes that could be equal parts comfortable and stylish, with a whole lot of room for personalization (and a side of ‘where’d you get that’s). Armed with knitwear expertise and the support of her children, Nicholas and Zo (yes, that Nic and Zo), Dorian got to work to do something about it. These classic yet creative garments show those results.
An all-in-one sweater-over-a-dress look mixed media dress, this is a versatile one-and-done outfit right off the hangar. The outer sweater layer is fully detachable, a blend of cotton with a distinctly drapey feel that perfectly complements the sleeveless maxi silhouette underneath. Use it solo if you so choose! Other details include adjustable straps, and a crushed fabric look to add texture and comfort.
